DESCRIPTION:The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie is holding a Career Fair on Tuesday\, January 22\, 2018 from 11:00am - 2:00pm & 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Stop in to meet with a member of our HR Department or child care team!\n\nWalk in's are welcome but an APPOINTMENT IS PREFERED! Skip the wait and speed up your interview process by emailing your resume to ktaddeo@childrenshome.us. We will review and schedule an appointment for January 22\, 2018.\n\nYouth Counselors/Direct Support Professionals supervise and instruct residents in the activities of daily living\, including personal care\, care of the living space and their personal property\, meal time activities community and school activities\, and general recreation. Seeking applicants for full time positions able to work evenings and weekends (all shifts). Previous child welfare experience preferred.\n\nPlease be sure that you meet the requirements listed below!\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n	High School Diploma or equivalent\; advanced degree or certification preferred.\n	At least 21 years of age. \n	Valid New York State Driver's License for at least 3 years\, with a good driving record\, as determined by the Agency.\n	Capable of vigorous physical activity\, active participation in recreation\, and the physical crisis intervention program of the agency.\n	Must be able to work a flexible schedule\, including evenings & weekends\n	Pay ranges from $13.50 to $14.50 per hour\, plus benefits (see below)\n	Positive\, friendly\, therapeutic\, attitude toward children.\n\n\nThe Children's Home offers an outstanding comprehensive benefit package including 4 weeks of paid vacation\, 9 sick days\, 3 personal days\, as well as medical\, dental\, vision\, 403(b) retirement plan\, life insurance\, Education Assistance Program\, Employee Referral Program\, weekly pay and much more!\n\n \n\nEqual Opportunity Employer
