DESCRIPTION:The Hudson Valley Writing Project offers remarkable summer experiences for students at the region's most important cultural and historic sites\, nature preserves\, and college campus in the Hudson Valley. Workshops are led by HVWP Teacher Consultants\, some of the best teachers in the Hudson Valley. With creative guidance\, writers will have opportunities and inspiration to write. At the end of each program\, writers will choose one piece to refine\, revise\, and share in an end-of-program celebration. The Hudson Valley Writing Project at SUNY New Paltz is an educational organization whose purpose is to promote literacy development and to improve writing in all disciplines and at all levels of education\, pre-kindergarten through college.
