AHA BLS Instructor Course

Description

This course is designed to prepare American Heart Association instructors to disseminate the science, skills and philosophy of resuscitation programs to participants enrolled in American Heart Association Courses. Current AHA BLS HCP Certification is required, and prior teaching experience is beneficial. Course completion results in a certification card valid for two years from the American Heart Association. This is a multipart course consisting of online training that needs to be completed prior to the classroom based training. You are also required to observe a class being taught and then be monitored by Training Center Faculty teaching on your own. You must successfully complete all steps within 5 months. Course cost is $300.00 and includes textbooks and materials.
