Back School Program

Join us for a FREE Back School Program on May 12th from 6-8 PM in the Women Center multipurpose room at Northern Dutchess Hospital. The Back School Program, led by Larry Flowers, PTA, offers a simple approach to understanding back injuries, what causes them and their prevention. The program will cover basic anatomy of the back including vertebrae, vertebral discs, spinal nerves, muscles, tendons and ligaments; body mechanics, how movement and posture can affect a person's back; and common types of back injuries and how these can be prevented.
