An Interfaith Celebration. The celebration will include music, readings, and a blessing of the fields. Speakers include Dr. Joshua Ginsberg, Cary Institute president; Rev. Dr. Matthew Calkins, Grace Church Millbrook; Dr. Umar M. Ahmad and Imam Hafiz Badar Usman, Mid-Hudson Islamic Center, Wappingers Falls; Shamu Sadeh, Adamah Farm and Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, Falls Village, CT; Donna Coane (Ohstonha Ohskennonoton), Leader and Healer, Schaghticoke First Nation, Kent CT; and Lama Depa and Lama Lhadron, Kagyu Thubten Choling Monastery, Wappingers Falls. Free and open to the public.
