Call for Art: Loving the Earth

Artists, All Media: The Mid Hudson Heritage Center seeks entries for the 'Loving the Earth' Art Exhibition March 19th-April 23rd, 2016. The exhibition explores the intersection of art and sustainability that will be based on recycled slate tiles from the Underwear Factory provided by the Mid Hudson Heritage Center. The artist can pick up the raw material at the Heritage Center on 317 Main St., Poughkeepsie, NY. The size of the slate tiles are varied, artists are encouraged to use these pieces in any way they wish. Final artwork will be for sale at the event, a portion of the proceeds from sales will go to support Hudson River Housing's Upcycled the Factory Program. The final piece for the exhibition is due back to the Mid Hudson Heritage Center by February 28th.
