Description
The Dutchess Dragon Boat Race & Festival is a unique and fun event in which 42 foot dragon boats with teams of paddlers compete in faces on the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie. And while the boats race, the shoreline at the Hudson River Rowing Association is teeming with activity...food vendors, craftspersons and artisans and performers. Admission is free to the public, and paddlers can register for $55 each or $1,000 for teams of 18-25 people. Proceeds from the event go to Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County.
