Expert forager Russ Cohen will give talk about native edible plants, October 13

Expert forager and author of Wild Plants I Have Known…and Eaten, Russ Cohen will give a talk on native edible plants on October 13 at 5:30pm at the Vassar Barns in the Vassar Farm and Ecological Preserve. Cohen's talk will feature a 90-minute presentation of at least two-dozen species of edible wild plants and will highlight which portions are edible. Cohen will supply helpful handout and will bring samples of foraged goodies made from edible native species for people to taste. This event is free and open to the public.
