Half Moon Theatre's 10 Minute Play Festival: ''Paranormal in Poughkeepsie''

HMT's popular 10 Minute Festival is back with a celebration of the supernatural and unexplained right here in the Hudson Valley. Inspired by Poughkeepsie's native son, 1950s cult sci-fi director Ed Wood, a group of local playwrights have written fun and wacky plays set in familiar locations—including the historic Beekman Arms, Omega Institute and the Poughkeepsie Train Station. Performances are held at HMT's Black Box Theatre. The theatre is located on the ground floor of the North Oakwood Commons Building at 2515 South Road (Route 9) Poughkeepsie directly behind the Red Robin restaurant. Friday, June 6th at 8pm Saturday, June 7th at 8pm Sunday, June 8th at 2pm Tickets for the Festival are $20 for all performances. Tickets may be purchased online at halfmoontheatre.org or by calling 1-800-838-3006. Seating is limited with only 80 seats per performance, so HMT strongly recommends that purchasing tickets in advance.
