Hike Vassar Farms with the Health & Wellness Club

The Health & Wellness Steering Committee of the Chamber will host a hike through our local gem, Vassar Farms, in to enjoy the carriage trails and wooded areas.

And don't forget to visit the Arlington Farmer's Market on Thursday nights from 4 to 7 pm to get some of the areas freshest vegetables, produce and baked goods to supplement your healthy lifestyle!

Join us on Thursday night August 9 to learn hiking safety information and then hike or stroll around the wooded hiking trails and carriage trails of Vassar Farms.  This hike will last approximately one and a half hours and will include tips on how to avoid injury, proper stretching techniques, and hiking safety. Participants are encouraged to bring plenty of water in non-disposable containers to carry while hiking, as well as an energizing snack.  Proper hiking shoes or boots are required.  The hike is open to anyone – frequent breaks can be taken along the way to rest and to enjoy the scenery.  This is a moderate hike of about 2.65 miles. 

Parking area and trailhead are located at Vassar Farms.
