The award is a symbol of recognition for the commitment and dedication to the community. The Committee has chosen the honorees as deserving of recognition for their professional achievements, dedications, and outstanding contribution to the political and social climate and discourse in our community. The 2017 honorees are: Jason Gerard, Anibal Garcia, Rob Lunski, Felipe Santos, Carlissa Morrison, Juana Leandry Torres, Jose Carrion, Market Fresh Supermarkets, MAT Bus, Inc., & NYS Assemblyman Frank Skartados
