HR 101: Key Issues – SCORE Workshop

Description

In this introductory Human Resources seminar, a local Paychex HR professional will present foundational knowledge for attendees on 10 key human resource issues that business owners face in today's heavily regulated business environment. The presenter will also cover some of the steps that business owners can take to solve each issue discussed.

Topics covered will include:
Creating accurate job descriptions
Filling out Form I-9 correctly for new employees
Proper employee classification
The application of overtime rules
The use of handbooks

Even if a business owner does not yet have employees, but has the desire to grow and scale his or her operations to a point where employees will be needed – this seminar will help towards that goal!
