Media and legal analyst Lionel discusses As I Saw It: A Reporter’s Intrepid Journey with iconic newscaster and author Marvin Scott. Scott will be discussing and signing copies of his new book at Monte's Local Kitchen and Tap Room in an intimate one on one interview. In As I Saw It, Scott reflects on the stories that have stuck with the news personality over the years, and the people who gave them life--from political scandals to hauntings at Amityville, local tragedies, triumphs and absurdities find their place alongside accounts of crime and redemption, war and celebrity on a national scale. The event is free and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the local library. Appetizers and a wine tasting will round out the afternoon's festivities. Live music by Mark Katz.
