Juneteenth Art Workshop

Youth Curators and YAEZ Liaisons will be hosting a community workshop designed to help Poughkeepsie Residences speak up for causes that are close to them by illustrating “Posters for Change”. This art making workshop will allow people of all ages to design a poster, decorate it, and incorporate powerful statements that call people to action - utilizing art to inspire education and change. This “Posters for Change”workshop will be focused on Black History, Black Empowerment and Black Freedom as part of Poughkeepsie’s City-Wide Juneteenth celebration.
