April is Autism Awareness Month – LIGHT IT UP BLUE! The MID HUDSON BRIDGE is partnering with GREYSTONE PROGRAMS and Autism Speaks in a worldwide campaign to ''Light it Up Blue'' and ''Shine a Light on Autism.'' On April 2, World Autism Awareness Day, Greystone's 14 locations -- and the bridge -- will be illuminated in blue lights, just like Niagara Falls, the Empire State Building, the Great Pyramids (Egypt), the Great Buddha Statue (Japan), and the Sydney Opera House (Australia). The initiative raises awareness about Autism, which affects tens of millions of people, including 1 in 68 children in the United States. Join us! Buy blue bulbs at The Home Depot. Wear blue to work.
