Presented by the Nonprofit Committee, speakers Cindy M. Smith of Cindy M. Smith, CPA PC and John Pecchia, Vice President for Business Affairs/CFO at Marist College will present a seminar focused on the following:

• Understanding financial reporting, income statements and balance sheets
• Changes in audited financial statements coming to your nonprofit
• The key financial responsibilities and reports such as P&L’s, budgets and 990 filings that can help you contribute to and understand your nonprofit in a more significant way using example reports
• The specific fiduciary role of Board members along with a financial education relevant to everyone who touches nonprofits (Staff, Volunteers, Board Members, donors…)
