Sacred Sites Event here in Poughkeepsie!

This weekend, all across the state, the New York Landmark Conservancy is holding their Sacred Sites Tour weekend.  All across the state, historic buildings will be opened to the public and everyone is invited to come visit these sites and check them out!  Right here in Poughkeepsie, First Congregational United Church of Christ will be taking part in this celebration which marks the 50th Anniversary of the New York Landmark Conservancy offering grants to historic sites for their restoration.  You are invited to come and see our beautiful downtown historic church building.  Marvel at our beautiful stained glass windows that were restored in 2011 in part with help from a grant from the Landmark Conservancy.  Volunteers will be on hand from 10-3 on Saturday May 20th.
