SCORE Workshop-Insurance Considerations for Small Businesses

This seminar, by Patrick C. Moore, CPCU, retired partner of Antalek & Moore Insurance Agency LLC, will focus on insurance issues a small business needs to consider necessary to operate and to adequately protect themselves.  Issues addressed will be:

·         Property Coverage – a discussion about properly insuring your business property and will include a discussion of in-home businesses

·         Liability Coverage – this is protection should you injury someone or their property.  Many small businesses are required to certify to customers they are properly insured.

·         Employer Related Coverage – a  discussion of coverage required by  NYS,  employees vs independent  contractors, employee theft and your liability as an employer

·         Other Coverages Businesses Should Consider – cyber related coverages, financial guarantee  insurance etc.
