Smoke Alarms Saves lives. Working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death from home fires in half. The Red Cross is joining with the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department to install free alarms  in the city of Poughkeepsie installing free smoke alarms, To schedule a smoke alarm installations please call 518-694-5121 or preparedness.eny@redcross.org.
