Visiting Artist Lecture with Taraka Larson

The visiting artist lecture series offers a unique opportunity for local residents to learn from artis and educators around the country about their practice, thought processes and influences behind their work. The lecture will be held by Taraka Larson, visual artist and band member of Prince Rama. Taraka has grown up in ashrams; lived on black metal communes; worked for utopian architects; written manifestos; delivered lectures from pools of fake blood; conducted group exorcism disguised as VHS workouts; designed a whole life of byzantine extreme sports wear; and toured the world extensively with her band, Prince Rama.
